How much does a site cost?

It depends on what your business needs and the domain you want, since domain prices vary. You get your free demo first, then a clear quote before you pay anything.

Do I need a domain?

No. If you don't have one, I can set one up for you. If you already have one, I'll use yours.

Can you use my existing domain?

Yes. It's an easy switch. I point your existing domain at the new site and handle the technical side.

How long does it take?

Days, not weeks. Your free demo comes together fast, and once you approve it, launch is quick.

What if I don't like the demo?

Then there's no charge. You never pay for a demo, and there's no pressure either way.

Terms of Service

These terms apply when you buy a website setup or monthly plan from Kaleb Campbell, doing business as KC Web Studio ("I" or "me"). By paying, you agree to them.

What you pay

Refunds on the setup fee

You get a full refund if you ask before I buy your domain or start launch work. After that, the setup fee is not refundable, because you have already approved your demo. If I can't deliver your site, you get a full refund.

Cancelling your monthly plan

You can cancel anytime by writing to me at dagoatg18@gmail.com. Your plan ends at the close of the month you have paid for, and partial months are not refunded. If you cancel before the free month ends, you owe no monthly charge. The setup fee still follows the refund rule above.

Your domain

Your domain is registered in your name, and you keep it if you leave. A standard domain (.com, .net, .org or .us) is included while your plan is active. After your plan ends, you pay for your own renewals.

Some domains are premium names that cost more than a standard domain. If yours is one, I will tell you before buying it. You can then pay the difference, pick another domain, or get a full refund of your setup fee.

Your website

Once your setup fee is paid, you own your site. If you cancel, I will give you one copy of your site files on request. After that, I no longer host or update the site.

What updates include

Your monthly plan includes hosting, plus changes to your text, photos, hours and services, and fixes. I usually finish these within 2 business days. New pages and major redesigns are quoted separately.

Launch timing

I usually launch within 5 business days after I have your payment, your domain and your final changes.

Failed payments

If a monthly payment fails, Stripe will try your card again. If it is still unpaid after 14 days, I may pause your site. If it is still unpaid after 30 days, I may end your plan.

Your content

You confirm that you have the rights to the photos and text you give me, and that your business details are accurate. You are responsible for what your site says about your business.

No guarantees

I work to build a site that helps customers reach you, but I can't promise a specific number of calls, customers or search rankings. I also can't promise that hosting or other outside services will never have downtime.

To the extent the law allows, my total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid me in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and governing law

I may update these terms and will post the new version on this page, with notice to active clients for any material change. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

I may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect my rights in a dispute.

I do not use cookies or tracking for advertising or analytics on this site. Stripe may use cookies during checkout to process payments and prevent fraud.

How long I keep it

I keep your information while we are working together, and as long as I need it afterward for records, taxes or disputes. If we never work together, you can ask me to delete your request.

Your choices

You can ask me to show you, correct or delete the information I have about you. Some records, such as payment records, may have to be kept by law. Depending on where you live, you may have other privacy rights.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no service online is completely secure.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not meant for children under 13.

Changes

If I change this policy, I will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
